DESCRIPTION

The community-based organization CRES, Inc. or Coalición Restauración de Ecosistemas Santurcinos, aims to create harmony between all the sectors that make up the Santurce area and the environment for its enjoyment and conservation. Through this volunteer experience you will help the Proyecto de Tortugas Marinas (Sea Turtle Project) that seeks to afforest the coast to provide a better habitat to the species that live, visit or nest on the beach, such as the endangered species of the Tinglar or Leatherback Turtle. You’ll be part of a special workshop on sowing and historical interpretation of the development of the area with an educational focus on what actions an individual can take to contribute.
