DESCRIPTION
Rebuild hope one home at a time! This organization established its long-term disaster recovery operation in Puerto Rico in August of 2018 to fulfill their mission of shrinking the time between disaster and recovery by rebuilding the homes of families affected by Hurricane Maria. They are currently serving families in the communities in Carolina, Canóvanas, Loíza, San Juan and Yabucoa, where they’ve successfully completed 45 home repairs/rebuilds, with the commitment to continue serving communities as long as there is a need. Volunteers help rebuild for families impacted by Hurricane María. No construction experience necessary. Volunteers support with many different phases of construction such as installing drywall, mudding or spackling, priming, painting, flooring, trim, doors and final punch.
