DESCRIPTION

Support Caras con Causa in alliance with Corredor del Yaguazo located in Cataño, two organizations that work to drive local development, education and conservation through reforestation efforts. You will be able to enjoy an integrated presentation about the urban wetland ecosystem, its local history and the role of the community in its preservation. Then, enjoy an interpretive walk in the mangrove forest, learning first-hand to identify the different species you’ll be working with in the nursery and the field. Working along side the organizations team, you’ll participate in field and nursery maintenance, preparing planting sites, removal of invasive species, monitoring species and planting native trees, according to the needs of the day.
Your contribution serves to finance the continued rehabilitation of this Nature Reserve and support quality life for its surrounding communities.
*All experiences are subject to organizations availability and minimum number of participants
